Since
the inception of CIK Enterprises there has been a Non-Profit
committee. Our founders felt that helping others in our community
was just important as building businesses focused on outstanding
products and customer service. 1% of all profits from CIK
are donated back into the communities in which we are located.
CIK's Community Gateway program also believes in giving back
to the community through service. The largest service project
is during the month of December when over $10,000 will be
used to purchase, wrap and distribute Christmas gifts to less
fortunate families.
Over the past 4 years close
to $200,000 has been allocated to CIK's Community Gateway
program. Members of CIK nominate different non-profit groups
they deem appropriate to the committee for review. This year
CIK will support many different causes but have partnered
with our four "Big Hitters" for a large portion
of the annual giving:
